Jeg lavede den "tutorial" for lidt tid siden til mit amerikanske knivforum. På opfordring fra Gunnut vises den her... :) I må desvære finde jer i at det er skrevet på engelsk.
I made a kydextutorial a couple years back and thought it needed redoing as I have changed quit a few things since then....here goes..
Start with a suitable knife :) ..in this case a Persian Ring fighter something I had laying around :) (still not finished in the picture....)
Put 3 layers of masking tape on both sides of the knife.
Use a sharp knife to cut the excess tape and your good to go to next step.
I usually work on several sheath at the same time as there is always some waiting envolved when making sheath and you might just as well do something while waiting :) so here is "the batch"
Next step is to cut some kydex to a rough size of whats needed. I use .080" kydex on all my knives. I use a regular white colorpencil to draw on the kydex. I place the knife on one side and start drawing.
Then I roll the knife over and mark again.
