Hej,
In Germany you are allowed to own 2 handguns as hunter, but in practise we not carry it at hunt. There is the unspoken advise or rule (Not as Law) to leave ist home , the hunting friends will be not amused, if you appear like John Wayne. You take it to the range to do some training or in competions. The German hunting law is liberal to many rifle types, you could use also semiautomatic rifles, in hunting, but the automatic repetion is to loud and often not necessary. You will take it to the cinema or range, in hunting they are not really accepted by conservative opionins.

The Oberland AR-15 rifle, can be imported, and registered on a hunting license if it is converted to a repetition rifle by a licensed gunsmith.
Otherwise it is a no go

Re: Moving to Denmark from Germany. How about my guns?
I feel a touch of envy, towards my fellow hunters, south of the Danish border, regarding the possibility to own two pistols for dispatching animals, and other hunting purposes. Definitely would enjoy that my self.
How long are you planning on staying in Denmark?
BTW, have you by any chance been shooting in Ulfborg before? Once met a German group, with a collection of rifles that matched yours. Gave one shooter a few subsonic rounds and lend him a silencer, to try on his RPR.

Re: Moving to Denmark from Germany. How about my guns?
Update:
First I called the police (P.A.C), the front desk police girl don't that much from moving with guns and rifles to Denmark. So, she told me
become member in a club and after two years, I will be able to get a legal handgun in Dk. She told about the Experts from Team 4 of P.A.C., after
10 minutes with a "phone robot" , luckily I reached the Team 4. Team 4 gave me advise to get my hunting license, because of the rifles but couldn't tell me anything else about handguns, as to phone the SKV about this question. So, I tried to phone "SKV Lilly", but she wasn't there.
I got some advise from IPSC colleagues in Denmark (DSF) via e-mail. There was one case moving from D to DK. He became club member in DK and
has sold one to "short" CZ and keep the other pistol at a Shop in Dk for sometime. After the club get the permission for this gun, they transferred it
to the club, but not direct to him personally.
The most reliable advise and ideas I got in this forum. Thank you for all your patience.
Tomorrow I go ahead to phone to Miss Lilly. Stay tuned.
Hilsen,
AJ

Most likely the DSF guys are also in here. Mapzter and I are members of Aalborg Skyttekreds, and compete internationally in IPSC, and quite a lot in Germany, so most likely you have met us at a match somewhere. Was your "example shooter" from Bremen?A-J skrev: ↑5. nov 2019, 20:23I got some advise from IPSC colleagues in Denmark (DSF) via e-mail. There was one case moving from D to DK. But yes, the next logical move would be a nice chat with Alice or Lilly from the SKV office in Vingsted. Don't talk too much IPSC, though. Then they might refer you to SKV Brøndby (Christina). SKV Vingsted handles most shooting sports in Denmark, but IPSC, Steel Challenge and a few other sports are deemed "elite sport", and is organized in Dansk Sportsskytte Union, and their SKV office is in Brøndby.
Yes, strange, I know. But that is how the cookie crumbles.
Football, tennis and golf, requires only one ball. Racing requires two.

Re: Moving to Denmark from Germany. How about my guns
I dont think that Alice or Lilly can tell you much more than you already know from NVF
Sell the AR and Glock in Germany (or get them rebuild to fit danish laws) and get a local dealer to import your other guns
then you can “buy” them back when you get your permits. The rifle and shotgun when you get your hunters licens, and the revolver and 1911 when you have been a member of a danish shootingclub for 2 years.
Alternative... sell them all, and buy new ones once you are established in Denmark
